Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Vandan (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is run by Crazy Crafto Pvt Ltd. This policy explains what the app collects, why each thing is needed, where it is kept and how to have it removed. It covers the Vandan Android app and this website.
The short version: Vandan needs a mobile number to know whose account it is, and a photo and a name because that is what it puts on your cards. Nothing else about you is wanted, and your photo is never published, sold or shown to another user.
1. What we collect
A. What you give us
- Mobile number. Used to sign you in, to keep your account across phones, and to send the one-time login code. The code is sent through an SMS provider acting on our behalf.
- Your name. It is written on your cards, and nowhere else.
- Your photo. One photo, cropped by you when you register. It is placed on the cards you see. It is stored privately: it has no public web address, it is served only to your own signed-in app, it is never shown to another user, and it is not used in any advertisement.
- What you write to support. If you contact us, we keep the message and our reply.
B. What the app records as you use it
- Device and installation data. A device identifier and a hardware attestation from Android, used to issue your app's session and to keep accounts from being created in bulk by scripts.
- Usage. Which cards were opened, shared or downloaded, which category chips were tapped, and searches made in the app. This decides what the feed shows you and which cards we make more of. It is tied to your account.
- Technical logs. IP address, app version, operating system version, and error reports, kept for a short period for security and for fixing faults.
C. What we do not collect
- Your gallery. The app reads only the one photo you pick, when you pick it.
- Your contacts, your messages, or your location.
- Card, UPI or bank details. Should you ever pay for something, the payment gateway handles those details and we are told only whether the payment succeeded.
2. Why we are allowed to hold it
We hold your number, name and photo because you gave them for a service you asked for — making your cards — and the service cannot work without them. We hold usage and technical data for our legitimate interest in running the service, keeping it secure and improving it. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it in the app, and you may withdraw it by deleting your account.
3. Who else sees it
We do not sell your information. It is shared only with:
- Our SMS provider, to deliver your login code — it receives your number and the code.
- Our hosting and storage providers, who keep the servers and files on our behalf under contract.
- A payment gateway, if you ever buy something, to take the payment.
- The authorities, when we are legally required to hand something over.
4. Where it is kept, and for how long
Account data and your photo are kept on servers in India for as long as your account exists. Delete the account and they are deleted with it, except for records we must keep by law (such as a payment record) and short-lived backups, which fall out of rotation within 30 days. Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days.
5. Your choices
- Change your photo or name at any time in the app, under Profile. Cards follow the change immediately.
- Delete your account from the app, or by writing to vandanadmin@snapreel.in from your registered number's email. Your photo, name and number go with it.
- Ask what we hold about you, and ask for a correction, by writing to the same address. We answer within 30 days.
6. Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS, with plain HTTP refused). Your photo is kept in private storage reachable only through your signed-in session. Sessions are tied to the device that created them and expire. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Children
Vandan is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep an account for one. If you believe a child has registered, write to us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app tells you the next time you open it. Carrying on using Vandan after that means the new policy applies.
9. Contact and grievances
Questions, requests and complaints about privacy go to:
